'Dirty tricks' officer slept in my house, says Galloway | The Times

Scotland Yard has launched an investigation after George Galloway accused a senior counter-terrorism officer of conducting a ?dirty tricks? campaign.

The Respect MP, whose firebrand approach to politics won him a surprise victory in the Bradford West by-election this year, has accused the officer of entering his home without consent and sleeping there.

In a string of extraordinary allegations, Mr Galloway claimed that the officer had used fake e-mail accounts and an alias on Facebook to attack him. Mr Galloway used a Commons motion to name the officer as Afiz Khan, a senior detective in the Metropolitan Police Counter-Terrorism branch.
