Auto racing roundup: Farmington driver Taylor wins first ACT race ...

SCARBOROUGH ? Farmington?s Jeff Taylor took the lead from Wayne Helliwell Jr. from Dover, N.H. with 11 laps to go and pulled away to win the 150-lap ACT Late Model feature at Beech Ridge Motor Speedway Saturday night.

Taylor finished 2.107 seconds ahead of Helliwell to post his first career win. Brian Hoar of Williston, Vt., led the first 43 laps, but Helliwell and Taylor swapped the lead seven times in the final 107 laps.

Randy Potter of Groveton, N.H. finished third with Jeffrey Labrecque Jr. of Rochester, N.H. in fourth and Fort Kent?s Austin Theriault in fifth.
