Chrome: If you have a web site or business, or just want a logo to identify yourself on social networks, Logo Maker is a Chrome add-on that gives you a canvas you can use to add and scale an image, apply text under it, and then export it as a PNG that you can add to your web site or upload as a profile pic, all without installing an image editor.
Once installed, you can import images you want in your logo into Logo Maker, stretch them out or transform them so they scale to the size you want. Then add text around the logo by selecting the font, font size, color, and placement. When you're finished, simply export your image, download it, and apply it on your web site, Twitter profile, or Facebook profile.
There's nothing that Logo Maker does that a desktop image editor won't do, except perhaps streamline the interface so you only see the tools you need to create your logo. If you're using a system where you can't install new software but a Chrome extension is okay, or if you're not sure how to create a logo in a bulkier image editor, Logo Maker is perfect for you. It's available now in the Chrome Web Store and works everywhere Chrome does.
